Please join me on Sunday, December 18th at 6pm for a night of community and dining. This 3 course dinner came about as a need to create something positive from the anxiety and despair I felt after the election of Donald J. Trump. Coming together as a community to share a meal and, quite frankly, enjoy ourselves is of unparalleled importance right now. All proceeds from this dinner will go towards the American Civil Liberties Union, whose work has been vital to the protection of civil rights in this country. When the government decides to screw over a marginalized peoples, the ACLU are the one's who go head to head with the law to fight for their rights.
WE NEED THE ACLU RIGHT NOW.
A little more about the dinner:
The 3 course meal will be focussed around wild boar. However, if you are pork adverse for any reason please specify. Unfortunately, I am not able to accommodate any other dining restrictions.
Other Half Brewery has generously donated a selection of draft beer to compliment the meal. Also, feel free to BYOB.
To kick off the night, enjoy a soothing electro-ambient-pop performance from Brooklyn based ROOK.
The event will take place at Purple Kale Kitchenworks in Sunset Park. The studio is conveniently located right off the R train 45th st stop.
Can't wait to see you all there!
