Dear Patron,
As you may know by now, Haiti was hit by Hurricane Matthew in October. Many areas have been devastated by it's passing. I have very close connections to Haiti through Dance and friends that are like family, specifically within 2 of the areas that were hit intensely. Shortly after the Hurricane passed I began collecting donations to send directly to a family to help them to rebuild their house and obtain clean water and food. Since that time, I have reached out to a 501(c)3 Organization, The M&M Foundation and Deborah Mason who have both agreed to help support my efforts in creating a fundraiser to raise more money for my cause.
The event will include presentations about the work in Haiti that has already taken place with the funds provided by our donors, Haitian food for sale and a dance performance by several local artists whom have donated to our cause. Performers include: Alive Dance Collective, Adrienne Hawkins, Modern Connections Collective, Paradise Lost, Taylor Maurand and Monkey House. All of the proceeds will go directly to the families that we are helping in Ti Gwav and Jeremie.
Please join us on Sunday December 11th at Deborah Mason School of Dance, 624 Somerville Avenue, Somerville MA at 6pm for an evening of arts and humanitarian efforts. Doors open at 6:30pm.
For additional information or questions please email: AlcideRelief@gmail.com I hope that you will join me in helping to conrinue to make our impact felt. Best Regards, ~Jenny
