Thompson Street Opera Company presents: THE FINAL BATTLE FOR LOVE
Described by the composer as "one of the finest Baroque-Metal Wrestling Operas in the repertoire," THE FINAL BATTLE FOR LOVE takes the audience on a whirlwind journey through a world that is at once, totally unreal and poignantly relevant.
A city, a wrestler, and an everyday man-- will any of them find love? And if they do, can they hold on?
Starring Matthan Black, whom Chicago Classical Review has called "simply magnificent;" Emma Sorenson, whose Chicago debut was referred to as "sublime", "intense", and "gorgeous"; and Matthew Peckham, whose recent work was described as "facile, multi-faceted, and fabulous". This is a show, and a cast, not to be missed.
