Victory for T&A
Comedians Katie East and Caitlin Brodnick have both battled Cancer and lived to tell the tale. And as comedians often do, they each have their own humorous spin on that tale.
New York City based comedian Caitlin Brodnick was diagnosed with the BRCA gene and underwent a preventative double mastectomy. Caitlin created and starred in the docu-series on Glamour.com about the process entitled, "Screw You Cancer." Caitlin took these experiences and weaved them into a hilarious and honest story-telling show.
Growing up, New Orleans based comedian Katie East endured unusual illnesses, odd injuries, surgical mishaps and cancer. Her one-woman show is set up as a Coney Island-style freak show that revolves around her, aka Sick Girl."
With Brodnick facing the breast cancer gene diagnosis and East surviving a melanoma on her buttocks, this event is surely a victory for T&A.
