Le Vent du Nord music concert
At 7:30pm Le Vent du Nord, from Quebec, delivers irresistible music for listening and dancing. Formed in 2002, the band performs traditional Québécois music (Celtic music blended with French folk) and sings in French. Their 2009 album, "La Part du Feu," won a 2011 Juno Award (Canadian version of our Grammy Awards). In April 2012, Le Vent du Nord released their newest album, "Tromper le Temps." www.leventdunord.com And there's more! At 5:30 pm Le Vent du Nord offers a workshop on the dance and music of Quebec, same location and day. This is included in the ticket price. This event is part of Franco-Fete, a two day conference event on French-American and Francophone culture, Sept. 28 and 29. http://und.edu/orgs/initiatives-in-french-midwest/english/franco.cfm
