Big Joy Festival
Big Joy 2016's main goal is to showcase current experimental acts from Vancouver and abroad. We're hoping to present a broad spectrum of what Vancouver's weirdo music scene has to offer, casting a wide net across many genres and styles. Vancouver has a diverse underground music scene and our hope is that in it's fourth year, Big Joy can offer an exciting, varied and relevant cross section of that scene and beyond. This year we are again featuring many artists we have never hosted before, maintaining our commitment to continually acknowledging and supporting the ever changing landscape of Vancouver's experimental sound community while playing host to a number of collaborations, one off performances and special guests from outside the city.
