Moon Over Manhattan: A Cabaret

Prepare to be transported to a moon-lit night in Manhattan where magic abounds around every corner. Genies grant wishes. Alluring artistes captivate with sizzling sword balancing. Delicate dolls come to life. Sexy showgirls glitter in the star-strewn night. And mermaids beckon from below the waters edge.
The magic comes to life for one night only on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at the eclectically classy Hale's Palladium. This one-of-a-kind cabaret will showcase Lunaria Dance Theatre, Seattle-based dance company, specializing in an innovative fusion of cabaret dance theatre and belly dance. Additionally featuring a well-known favorite among the Seattle art scene, Mark Siano, singer and comedian, and La Gaviota, actor, dancer and drag queen extraordinaire. The show features choreographies to well-known favorites like New York, New York, I Dream of Jeannie, and a Marilyn Monroe montage, that with an added twist of belly dance, make this a unique and exhilarating production.
Moon Over Manhattan: A Cabaret is produced by Mellilah, director of Lunaria Dance Theatre. In 2015, Mellilah created the dance company as another outlet to feed her passion to choreograph and her desire to step outside of the box of Egyptian style belly dance to return to her theatrical roots. The dance company is comprised of professional and award- winning dancers Alessandra, Amalia, Ava, Jada, Nancy Elizabeth, Shannon, Shiori and Mellilah, who collectively offer a diverse background in belly dance, theatre, ballet, ballroom, burlesque, tap, and jazz. Member accolades include three recent wins in Seattle's Belly Dance Off!, a featured spot in Bellydance Superstars produced by Miles Copeland, and performances at Usher and Vin Diesels private birthday parties. Lunaria Dance Theatre specializes in dynamic performances that encompass Isis wings, fans, sword or candle balancing, chair dancing, and more.

General Admission: $25 adv/$30 at the door
Premium Seating: $35 guaranteed front row seat. On day of event, unsold Premium seats will become General Admission.
VIP Seating: $45 guaranteed VIP Round Table Seating in front of the stage. Tables seat up to 4 people (5 upon request). Please order as a group or specify seating preferences in advance. On day of event, unsold VIP seats will be offered to Premium seat holders and/or General Admission. Thank you.
