A Memory Palace of Fear
A Memory Palace of Fear is a haunted house about housing--an immersive theater installation exploring the many ways our homes can both menace us and keep us safe. What haunts your house? Your neighborhood? What stories do you tell to make sense of your fear?
Created by Martha Bayne, Lily Emerson, Sara Heymann, Billie Howard, Andrea Jablonski, and Charlie Malawe, with Emmy Bean, Sharon Lanza, and Kat McJimsey.
Produced by Theater Oobleck, with support from the Social Justice News Nexus program at Medill School of Journalism, workshop performances of AMPOF will be staged October 29 & 30 at Silent Funny, 4106 W. Chicago Ave., in Chicago. Performances are every 15 minutes from 6-10 pm Saturday, October 29, and from 1-5 pm Sunday, October 30. Walk-up admission will be granted on an as-available basis; advance ticket purchase is encouraged. May not be suitable for children under ten.
