Kevin Scott Hall: 31-derful Years in New York!
Kevin will present new songs as well as favorites from his recordings, previous shows, and piano bar years. While most of his repertoire will be interpretations of contemporary pop songwriters, he will include a couple of American Songbook classics and a couple of his own compositions. An experienced public speaker and teacher, Hall will also tell stories that will show his heart and sly sense of humor.

Kevin Scott Hall began his cabaret career with a show at the old Trocaderos in 1986. Since then, he performed steadily in the cabaret rooms of New York and beyond until 2004, including Dont Tell Mama, The Duplex, Upstairs at Roses Turn, Dannys Skylight Room, The Ballroom, and many more. He also made three recordings; the first, New Light Dawning (1988) received national airplay. He worked for twelve years at the historic Roses Turn piano bar, and currently teaches in the theatre department at City College. He has also directed the popular "That Singing Feeling" cabaret workshops since 1995. In recent years, he was on the board of the prestigious Bistro Awards (2011-2015) and wrote dozens of profiles and a monthly cabaret column for Edge Media Network. He is the author of the novel Off the Charts! and the acclaimed memoir, A Quarter Inch from My Heart (Wisdom Moon, 2014), which debuted in Amazons Top Ten books about Friendship upon its release. He is thrilled to be returning to New Yorks cabaret stage at Pangea. For more information about Kevin, visit www.kevinscotthall.com.
