Big Band Dinner Dance
On Friday evening, August 31st, Historic Flight Foundation will open its doors at 6:00 p.m. for a vintage 1940s dinner/dance. Period attire is encouraged. Many will appear in uniform. Otherwise, business casual. In a shift from traditional, the dinner will be tapas style. Ten elite food resources including Taylor Shellfish (oyster shuckers) and Pike Brewing Co. (you guess) will allow guests to sample the best of the best. The "Kings of Swing," a fifteen-piece ensemble, will entertain from 7-10. Other program highlights include a group dance lesson and performance by professional dancers. Only 250 tickets are available for this event. The dinner/dance ticket also allows admission to Vintage Aircraft Weekend.
