SMCO partners with local DJs, producers, and visual artists for SPARK, a new performance series that takes the classical music genre far outside the realm of the expected. At the premiere event on May 20, 2017 at Fred Wildlife Refuge on Seattle's Capitol Hill, attendees will enjoy two floors of dancing, two bars, live DJ with improvisation by SMCO musicians, and a featured orchestra performance.
Selections include: Bates: The Rise of Exotic Computing Vivaldi: Concerto for Strings in D minor Piazzolla: Oblivion, Libertango Mozart: Symphony No. 25 in G minor World Premiere TBA: French Horn Quartet and Orchestra
