A Humble Feast

Devra Gartenstein's Humble Feast dinners celebrate local food in its everyday glory, in an easygoing setting for an easygoing price: a five-course buffet dinner for $12/head (or $10/head prepay). Devra is the owner of Patty Pan Grill, Seattle's oldest farmers' market concession. She is the author of two cookbooksLocal Bounty and The Accidental Veganas well as a food history chronicle titled Cavemen Monks and Slow Food: A History of Eating Well.
