Piazza d'Oro: A Taste of Eataly at the Waldorf Astoria Chicago
Eataly Chicago and Waldorf Astoria Chicago are joining together to offer an unforgettable taste of Italy with Piazza d'Oro (gold piazza).
On Sunday, September 11, 2016, the hotel's European-inspired courtyard, located in the heart of Chicago's Gold Coast, will transform into an outdoor Italian market with authentic food and wine stations, festive music and fashion.
Food offerings will include Eataly's popular arancini (fried risotto balls),fresh mozzarella made right before your very eyes and a selection of Eataly's housemade gelato, alongside small bites from the Waldorf Astoria Chicago culinary team such as hand-sliced porchetta on a baguette and marinated olives. Savor this delicious food while enjoying Italian wine, beer and Aperol Spritz and listening to live jazz courtesy of David Rothstein Music.

Gold coins cost $4 each
1 coin per food item
1 coin per non-alcoholic beverage
2 coins per alcoholic beverage (wine, beer, Aperol Spritz)
