We invite you to join us on Friday, October 21 and Saturday, October 22, 2016, for WASCLA's 11th annual Language Access Summit in Shoreline, WA. The WASCLA Summit is Washington's only multi-disciplinary conference dedicated to language access. This years theme is Language Access: It's a Family Matter and we will examine critical language access issues facing parents/guardians, children and youth, service providers, and communities.

5:00 p.m. Closing CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDITS: WASCLA applies for approval of continuing education credits for the Summit from the credentialing bodies for various professions, including attorneys, medical and court interpreters, and teachers. We will be posting CEU details for each profession as they become available.

COURT INTERPRETERS
WA Administrative Office of the Courts: 11 credits approved, Friday: 6 total credits available, combination of general and professional categories. Saturday: 5 total credits available, including up to 1.5 ethics credits if attending Breakout A. Other sessions awarded either professional or general credit.

FEES & PAYMENT: We offer both a One-Day Admission and a Two-Day Admission ticket. If you can only attend one day (either Friday or Saturday), choose the One-Day Ticket option for the day you will attend. If you plan to attend both days, select the Two-Day Ticket.

Payments are accepted by credit card through this site. PayPal allows you to proceed as a guest and pay by credit card. If you need an alternate payment method, please email us at wascla.lep@gmail.com.
REGISTRATION PROCESS: Please use this page to purchase your registration ticket to attend the Summit. Please be sure to select the ticket for the day or days you will attend. There are 3 ticket options:
One-Day Admission, Attending Friday Only One-Day Admission, Attending Saturday Only Two-Day Admission: Attending Friday & Saturday
Please be sure to indicate the name of the attendee for each ticket purchased.
MEALS: When you purchase your ticket, you will be able to select your meal preference. Your registration includes a continental breakfast, lunch, and a light snack in the afternoon, as well as beverages (coffee/ tea/water). When purchasing your ticket, please be prepared to select your meal preference and indicate any food allergies. Vegan, vegetarian, and meat choices are available.
Requests for ADA Accommodations: Please let us know as soon as possible if you are in need of an accommodation to attend the conference. Requests made after October 10th may not be able to be fulfilled; however, we will work diligently to try to fill any request for an accommodation. Send your request to: wascla.lep@gmail.com
LODGING Shoreline Convention Center does not have onsite lodging. Attendees are responsible for securing their own accommodations; WASCLA has not reserved hotel rooms for this event. We recommend that you make reservations as early as possible as demand is always high in the Seattle area and the Summit dates also coincide with UW Homecoming weekend. PARKING Onsite parking for the Summit is available free of charge at the Shoreline Conference Center.
REFUND POLICY Refund requests must be submitted in writing to wascla.lep@gmail.com. Refunds will be issued as follows:
Those requesting a refund before October 1, 2016 at 12:00 p.m. will be issued a full refund minus a $25.00 administration fee. No refunds will be given for requests made after 12:01 p.m. on October 1, 2016.
