Music at the Library: Micah McLaurin
Micah McLaurin Thursday, August 18th 7:00PM $20 members / $30 nonmembers Charlestons own Micah McLaurin will perform an evening of beautiful classical piano. McLaurin has distinguished himself at many international competitions and performed with numerous renowned orchestras throughout the U.S. Micah was the youngest pianist chosen worldwide to participate in the Verbier Festival Academy in Switzerland and was one of eight pianists selected to participate in the Music Academy of the West in Santa Barbara, where he won the concerto competition and performed with the Academy Festival Orchestra. We are thrilled to welcome Micah home for a concert before the start of his fourth year at the Curtis Institute of Philadelphia
