At 26, HUBBY JENKINS is a talented multi-instrumentalist who endeavors to share his love and knowledge of old-time American music. Born and raised in Brooklyn he delved into his Southern roots, following the thread of African American history that wove itself through country blues, ragtime, fiddle and banjo, and traditional jazz. Since 2010 he has been an integral part of the Grammy award winning Carolina Chocolate Drops while he continues to make solo performances.
Local artist Thirteen-year-old Roman Barten-Sherman plays Delta Blues guitar. His debut CD, Interstellar Blues was a 2014 KXCI top 40 pick of the year. 2015 saw the the release of the album Death of Immortality by Barten-Shermans electric Hill Country Blues duo, Roman Barten-Sherman and The Interstellar Blues Orchestra.
