A harmonious and hilarious homage to musical divas by Seattle's premiere ensemble to benefit our local LGBTQ youth and in celebration of twenty years of education, advocacy, and support by PFLAG Bellevue/Eastside.
A vocal comedy group consisting of members of Seattle's Men Chorus, Captain Smartypants has performed all over the Pacific Northwest and beyond, thrilling and delighting audiences from Washington DC to San Francisco. Now you can see them in the Eastside, and join in a night of community and celebration.
Since their inception in 2000, Captain Smartypants has performed with Ann Wilson, Jennifer Holliday, Kelli OHara, Kristin Chenoweth, Melissa Manchester, and Tituss Burgess. And now Redmond HS award-winning theater students will join that prestigious list, as they kick of this special evening devoted to our local LGBTQ youth with a fun revue (think show tunes!).
Together, let's fill the theatre and show the Eastside that there is strong support for LGBTQ persons, their families, friends and allies.
*A chance for musical comedy lovers and Glee fans to see the ensemble that does it best, right here in the Eastside, and get a glimpse of some young stars in the making.
*An evening to celebrate our local LGBTQ community and raise our visibility, especially to those who may feel isolated and alone.
* A message of hope to our LGBTQ youth, on stage, in the audience, and in our towns: we are here for you, and we believe in you, because we know it gets better.
