Kill Your Parents in Viking Alberta
The three Turtle siblings- Frank, Perry and Susan, estranged and slightly damaged, meet for the first time in 14 years to sign the will of their late grandmother. Each sibling, with their respected chipped shoulders, has something to give, something to share, and something to get over. Secrets are revealed; mistakes are identified (but only somewhat forgiven), while sundaes are shared in this dark yet witty theatrical comedy. This play, all dedicated to one location, in real time, shakes the pre-conceived perceptions of a traditionally structured play, while still touching on themes of environmental issues, homophobia, bullying, and family grievances.
