Yarmouth Historic House Tour
Join the Yarmouth Historical Society for a Historic House Tour on September 17. Plan to spend the day exploring one of Yarmouth's beautiful historic neighborhoods. This year's self-guided walking tour will focus on Yarmouth's first subdivision: the Richmond Cutter-Zadoc Humphrey neighborhood. This area of town was divided in 1847 in anticipation of the arrival of the railroads in the late 1840s. Tour attendees will be able to visit seven lovely properties, which span over 100 years of architectural history.
Tickets for the tour are $25 in advance or $30 in person on the day of the tour. All tour attendees must check in at the History Center (118 East Elm Street, Yarmouth, ME) on the day of the tour to pick up their tickets and programs. Please note that the homes on the tour are multi-story and require attendees to navigate stairs. Regretfully, these private homes are not wheelchair or stroller accessible. Service animals only.
