SPRING AWAKENING

The modern folk-infused rock adaptation of Frank Wedekind's 19th century expressionist play portrays a group of young students coming of age in an uncomprehending world. Banned when first introduced, this controversial
classic is still provocative as a contemporary musical in its uncompromising view of teenage angst and exhilaration. Winner of eight Tony Awards including Best Musical, Spring Awakening is a celebration of the rebellious imperatives of youth.

Due to the adult subject matter of Spring Awakening, Stray Dog Theatre recommends that audience member be at least 17 years of age to attend this production.
