David Keltz as Edgar Allan Poe in Person
Meet Edgar Allan Poe in person as portrayed by veteran actor David Keltz. In this awe-inspiring one-man play, Poe shares his thoughts and opinions, discusses the driving force behind some of his writings and performs "The Tell-Tale Heart," "The Cask of Amontillado," "The Facts in the Case of M. Valdemar," and the most perfectly constructed poem ever written - "The Raven."
Join David Keltz in his performance as Edgar Allan Poe on Friday, October 14 at 8 p.m., Saturday, October 15 at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m., and Sunday, October 16 at 2 p.m. in historic downtown Baltimore.
Running time is approximately 75 minutes without intermission.
Commanding more than five hours of Poe's poetry, short stories, essays, literary criticism and reported conversations, 2016 marks Keltz's 25th year portraying Edgar Allan Poe in costume and character to audiences of all ages.
