The Ever Unfolding Present: Music & Dance by Geoffrey Gee & Kimerer LaMothe
Life is now. What you notice and how you respond give rise to what is and what will be. In every moment, so much is possible. So much freedom. So much joy. So much love. Since the beginning of human history, people have used music and dance to tap and release the transformative potential of the presentto access its richesto open and feel and think and know.
Kimerer and Geoffrey, in their collaborative improvisations, take you to a place where you discover what is possible in your own life. Drawing on years of practice in their respective fields, these two artists individually and together concentrate the shapes of human experience into pure gestures that touch the heart of the moment and find the play within.
Geoffrey Gee is a pianist, composer, sound designer, and music educator. In addition to publishing five CDs, he has performed his original music in 18 countries around the world, most recently in his solo piano debut at Carnegie Halls Weill Recital Hall.
