Meadowlark Provençal Feast at Our Table Farm
Every summer, we like to dream that we are vacationing in a petit château in Southern France. For the time being, we make do by hosting a dinner right around Bastille Day that is inspired by the lush, summery foods of Provence. This year's French fête is particularly special because it will take place at Our Table, a beautiful cooperative farm in Sherwood, OR, about 30 minutes from Portland.
The evening will begin with a welcome beverage and hors d'oeuvres followed by an optional (but highly recommended!) 30-minute tour of the farm. The four-course, family-style dinner will be served out in the field, and will feature a bounty of fresh produce from the farm, offering generous options for omnivores, pescatarians, and vegetarians alike. Taking a cue from Le Grand Aioli, a summer tradition in Provence, the entrée course will include platters of fresh local seafood, poultry, vegetables, and more, accompanied by bowls of garlicky aioli and fresh herb pistou. Beautiful rosé wines will be served to accompany the meal.
$50 tickets include dinner and gratuity; wine pairings can be added for $25.
