GLOBAL STILT CONGRESS FUSE! 2016 Festival of Spectacle & Ensemble
September 17 as part of Arcosanti's Italian Night we are hosting ACADIANA, an evening of performance honoring the acadian diaspora with presentations from New Brunswick/Quebec and Louisiana.
"The Robes of St. Anne" is an ambulant stilt performance honoring the religious icon that united the acadian and m'kimaq people during the time of colonial settlement. Performed by Circus Stella (New Brunswick) and Co Julie Danse (Quebec) The Robes of St. Anne will be performed around the Arcosanti grounds as part of Arcosanti's annual Italian Night festival.
"Loup Garou" is part performance, part ritual, part howl of the werewolf to the world about the plight of southeast Louisiana. Performed by Nick Slie of Mondo Bizarro from New Orleans, LA "Loup Garou" uses rigorous physicality, poetry and music to sing a song of love and hope for the Gulf coast

September 24 is THE EQUINOX LEGISLATION from Global Stilt Congress and The Carpetbag Brigade. This meandering performance uses the cutting edge work developed at Global Stilt Congress to gather together and legislate a path for a balanced existence and a congress empowered to act for all. Featuring poets Logan Dirtyverbs and Leah Marche THE EQUINOX LEGISLATION is a multi-dimensional performance procession with live music, aerial dance and some of the globe's best acrostilters.
FUSE! is the Festival Uniting Spectacle + Ensemble and showcases the public events accompanying Global Stilt Congress
