23RD HOUR
Fresh off recording sessions in Toronto and Nashville, 23rd Hour returns home with its eclectic mix of acoustic jazz, rock and pop originals. The band consists of singer-songwriter partners Sherry-Lynn Lee and George Paolini, with Joe Wetmore on bass and Brian Kunz on percussion. Their Red Rock performances consistently sell out, so get here early to get a seat.
FUNK & WAGNALL
Funk & Wagnall: A Tribute to Simon & Garfunkel, was started by Casey Wickstrom during his sophomore year of high school. Fascinated with the work of Paul Simon since an early age, Wickstrom and a friend learned the harmonies and music of such standards as Sound of Silence, The Boxer, and 59th St Bridge Song, performing at school events. Nearly a decade later, Funk & Wagnall has emerged as a serious project, with over a dozen songs in their repertoire. Featuring Henry Rust on bass, dobro and tenor guitar, and Luke Reilly on vocals, along with Wickstrom on guitar and harmonies, this tribute is a one of a kind show - bringing the timeless music of Simon & Garfunkel to a new, modern generation of listeners, and keeping the true spirit of these songs alive.
