Meet and engage with compelling, renowned BC artists in our three-part speaker series. A Q&A session follows each presentation.
Dr. Rick Dorfer explores the concept of "inspiration" and how it weaves through his multi-faceted career as a musician. A violinist with the Vancouver Opera and conductor with the Vancouver Youth Symphony Orchestra, Rick also maintains a large violin studio and is regularly invited to adjudicate festivals and give master classes. As a music arranger, Rick uses music to captivate the imagination and encourage creativity in young musicians. This thought provoking evening will include audience participation.
