42 Strings + Primo Segundos LIVE at Cafe Cairo!
42 Strings is the collaboration between zheng player Muqi Li and korist Althea SullyCole, who are currently based in London. The pair met at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) in the fall of 2015.

PrimoSegundos are a trio playing a sort of afro-latin jazz with a healthy slab of London. First meeting through playing and parading Afro-Brazilian music of the North-East, the trio of Ramon Fenandez (guitar), Emmanuel 'Mac' McDonald (percussion and berimbau) and Will Roper (trumpet) have continued to blend other local and global influences to create melodic grooves that keep the head nodding and the feet tapping. Expect acoustic and original interpretations of Funk and Drum'n'Bass dancing in and out of Samba, Son and Jazz.
