A multi-faith, multicultural community choir 60 voices strong, UGC is renowned for its big sound, infectious exuberance and eclectic repertoire that blends old school and urban gospel with social justice anthems, world rhythms and uplifting pop in a uniquely exhilarating mix. This dynamic musical diversity combined with the choir's dedication to building community and raising social awareness through song has garnered UGC an intensely loyal fan base that grows with each concert. UGC will be bringing you music in a two evening concert event that will be nothing short of inspiring for the human spirit.
UGC is led by Music Director Lonnie Delisle, a renowned choral director and musician. Lonnie's exceptional music arranging skills help create a powerful sound for the Universal Gospel Choir.
Assistant Music Director Diane Lines has been with the UGC for 13 years. An accomplished accompanist and keyboardist, Diane tours with her own show JUMP! A Celebration of Swing, Boogie Woogie and Jump Blues.
