Putting it Together: 10 Years of Women's Voices
Womens Voices Milwaukee (WVM) presents their Spring Concert Putting it Together: 10 Years of Womens Voices on Friday, May 13th and Saturday, May 14th, 2016 at 7:30 p.m. at the Milwaukee LGBT Community Center, 1110 N Market St #2, Milwaukee, WI 53202. Children under 10 are free. Seating is general admission.
Putting it Together tells the story of Womens Voices Milwaukee, growing from the seeds of an idea to one of the hidden gems of womens music in the Milwaukee area. For 10 years, we have sung with a mission to celebrate and empower women as we build bridges of understanding throughout our community! Sing along with us as we mark this anniversary with old and new favorites like "Born This Way", "True Colors", Just The Way You Are" and many others!
Womens Voices Milwaukee provides a welcoming place to celebrate and empower all women and build bridges of understanding throughout the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and straight communities. We strive for musical excellence, singing to entertain, inspire, and heal through the power of choral music.
The choir, formed in 2005, is under the artistic direction of Lori Gilland. New members are always welcome to our LGBT-affirming choir. We practice Tuesday nights at the Milwaukee LGBT Community Center, 1110 N Market St #2, Milwaukee, WI 53202.
