Jim Page in Concert with Jeff Manson
Jim Page is a singer and song writer from Seattle, WA, whose music has taken him to much of the world. His songs have been covered by The Doobie Brothers, Michael Hedges, Joanne Rand, Leftover Salmon, Christy Moore (Ireland), Dick Gaughan (Scotland), and many others. He was named by Seattle Metropolitan Magazine as One of the 50 Most Influential Musicians.
Bonnie Raitt says, "Jims been writing great topical songs for as long as I can remember, bringing his acute wit and wry humor to a host of subjects that can really use both. In the tradition of Woody and Dylan, he cuts right to the heart with music you actually enjoy listening to. Im a longtime admirer.
Jim will play in the Dance Palace Church Space. Local musician and DJ Jeff Manson will open the show with original songs evoking the joy and beauty of the West Marin landscape. Tickets are $10-20, sliding scale.
