Gordon Bugbee Annual Boat Cruise and Fundraiser
Every year for nearly twenty years we get on the boat for three hours on a weekend in May. The cruise raises a significant portion of our annual budget for the community kitchen and food pantry. For the second year in a row, we are partnering with Everyone Eats, a mostly Presbyterian coalition of congregations that serves on Wednesdays at Spirit of Hope. Together, we make a difference, serving God, serving neighbor.
We depart from Stroh River Place at 4 pm (all aboard by 3:45) and arrive back at dock by 7 pm. View Detroit, Lake St. Clair, and Windsor from the comfort of a triple decker boat complete with good food, a cash bar and a community of good people.
