DIE WISE Making Meaning of the Ending of Days
Stephen Jenkinson, MTS, MSW Spiritual activist, teacher, author, storyteller, ceremonialist and farmer has sat bedside with countless people as they move into their dying process. His book 'Die Wise' now a best seller, is the basis of this day-long workshop where Stephen addresses such questions as:

Why, if we all have to do it, is dying such a mysterious, troubling thing among us?

Why is it so hard to die?

Why do we have to learn how to do it?

Many among us now are crazy for meanings, and crazed by seeking them out. The meanings of life aren't inherited. What is inherited is the mandate to make meanings of life by how we live. The endings of life give life's meanings a chance to show. The beginning of the end of our life, and maybe our way of life, is now in view. It has always been there. This isn't punishment, any more than dying is a punishment for being born. Instead, the world whispers: All we need of you is that you be human, now. Our work is to sort out what being human should be in such a time. This is a presentation for everyone who will fail to live forever.

Stephen Jenkinson is the presenter at this event.
His books and live-recorded teachings are available at: www.orphanwisdom.com
