The Dancing Bear Bead retreat is a very unique event. We found a quiet nice campground, close to civilization.
The Retreat Packages and the Weekend Beading Pass include camping, drinks and snacks.
We will have tables, chairs and electricity for classes & beading sessions.
We will bring our Tipis for classroom and social beading.
There are 4 classes total and two tracks of beading styles. Native American and Modern Beading. Participants need to choose either Native/Modern for each scheduled class time.
Each class has different required kits. After you complete your registration on Brown Paper Tickets, you will be sent an email for choosing your classes, with the kit fee.
The class kit price ranges $20-40 per class, in addition to the package fees.
We will have beading sessions every day, all day.
Friday: 2pm-12am
Saturday: 10am-12am
Sunday: 10am-12am
Monday: 10am-2pm
We will also have a small Dancing Bear shop at the campground for beading convenience.
Camping equipment is required. For those who do not want to camp, we arranged a group rate, for an additional fee, at Comfort Inn-Escondido for a double queen room @ $135.99/night. 760-489-1010. Limited rooms at this price, reservation deadline May 13, 2016.
Do you have friends/family who don't bead, but you want them to come camping with you? We have a per person weekend price for them to camp for the weekend.
