SMLunch: Presented by Seattle Goodwill

The Fearey Group believes you should never eat lunch alone. There's always an opportunity to expand your network, make new connections and explore the scene around you. That's why we created Social Media Lunch - so marketers, brand ambassadors and community managers from around the city could get offline and meet face-to-face!

This month we're excited to host this event with our friends at Seattle Goodwill! The mission of Seattle Goodwill is to provide quality, effective employment training and basic education to individuals with significant barriers to economic opportunity. Seattle Goodwill currently operates 10 job training centers, 24 retail stores and 38 donation sites in King, Snohomish, Skagit, Whatcom and Kitsap counties.

Seattle Goodwill will host us for lunch on Thursday, April 21. We will learn more about Seattle Goodwill and its #give1pound campaign for Earth Day 2016, Friday, April 22. Every year, the average person throws out 70 pounds of items that could be donated. Seattle Goodwill is asking individuals to #give1pound in donation for Earth Day. We'll have recycle donation bags you can take home and #give1pound on your own.

Not only will we have great food, great company and be able to learn about a great organization in our community, Seattle Goodwill will also be giving away tickets to some lucky attendees for the Sustainable Sounds concert at the Tractor Tavern on May 2. Seattle Goodwill is sponsoring the concert with KEXP.

Seattle Goodwill has free parking at its building, and it is also close to stops for the 7 and 9 bus routes.
