Benefit party for The Indypendent & Waging Nonviolence
Both The Indypendent and Waging Nonviolence believe real social change comes from below and are committed to producing first-rate, quality journalism that serves that end. Please join us for a very special event on Tuesday, June 26, as we celebrate independent media and the work of these two organizations.
Special guests include legendary nonviolence theorist, activist and author George Lakey and culture-jammer extraordinaire Andy Bichlbaum of The Yes Men. Party includes delicious food, an open bar and stunning evening views of downtown Manhattan!
