The Changelings at OPEN BOOK (May 20-22, 27-29, June 3-5)

The Changelings is set in Threadsville, where the women all work in a rope factory and the men spend their time in betting parlors. The plums are ripe outside and the radio reports a record year for rope, but inside the crumbling Cragg house, Goat has been wearing the same clothes for 23 years and her husband, Freshface, is out of luck. One day, a man claiming to be the couples long-disappeared child, now grown, appears at the front door, forcing the Craggs to reckon with grief, belief, hope and change.

Open Book is located on the south side of Washington Ave by 10th Ave. It is west of 35W by three blocks.

Free parking is available in the adjacent lot and off-street parking is available. There are also parking ramps at Washington and Chicago Aves.

Concessions are available at the coffee shop located within Open Book.
