Join writer, filmmaker and composer Chris Alexander for a mini-masterclass on the house that Serling built, television's groundbreaking dark fantasy series THE TWILIGHT ZONE. Alexander will not only discuss the genesis of the program, its influence on popular culture and key episodes but also delve deep into the story of the man whose heart, mind and soul rest within TZ's five,remarkable seasons: writer, visionary and iconoclast Rod Serling.
Chris Alexander is a Canadian-based filmmaker, musician, writer and editor of noted film culture website SHOCK TILL YOU DROP and the co-founder/editor of cult film magazine DELIRIUM. He is the former editor-in-chief of both FANGORIA and GOREZONE magazines. As a filmmaker, he is the writer, director and composer of the award winning vampire film BLOOD FOR IRINA, its follow-up/sequel, QUEEN OF BLOOD and the upcoming erotic drama FEMALE WEREWOLF. Alexander has also composed original music for films like Joseph OBriens THE DEVILS MILE and Chris Walshs stop motion horror film THE SHUTTERBUG MAN. As a recording artist, his album Music for Murder (Giallo Disco) was released in 2015. Alexanders live performances of his dark, electronic music are dramatic and visualand very, very bloody.
