First Annual Winter Truffle Experience at Cedarbrook Lodge
Immerse your mind and taste buds in a weekend of edible truffle delights & education. The weekend begins with a truffle talk from Susanne Carreiro, esteemed author of "The Dog Who Ate the Truffle". Both Friday and Saturday will include five-course seasonal tasting menus, utilizing black and white truffles from around the world with wine pairings from Washington State, France and Italy. Another outstanding highlight will be the included cooking classes with Susanne Carreiro, Cedarbrook's Culinary Director Roy Breiman and Executive Chef Mark Bodinet. These will feature specialty dishes such as truffle ice cream, pastas and infusions. On Saturday, Jeremy Faber, the owner of Foraged and Found Edibles, will speak with guests regarding the proper technique to forage their own truffles. Riley Starks will be on hand with Stella, his truffle dog. Two day ticket prices are inclusive of a copy of Susanne's book, The Dog Who Ate the Truffle, a memoir of time spent in Umbria, including numerous recipes. Two day tickets are priced at $325 and are inclusive of all facets outlined above. For those interested in single day tickets for Friday or Saturday, please contact Copperleaf Restaurant at 206-214-4282.
