ROOM FULL OF SPOONS - U.S. Premiere
Cinedelphia Film Festival presents ROOM FULL OF SPOONS (U.S. Premiere) (2016, 110 min, Dir. Rick Harper)
TWO SCREENINGS: Friday, April 8, 10:15 PM Saturday, April 9, 4:30 PM
The Cinedelphia Film Festival is proud to present the United States Premiere of the documentary that Tommy Wiseau doesn't want you to see!
The secrets of Tommy Wiseau are revealed in the definitive documentary on cult film sensation The Room! Room Full of Spoons takes an in-depth look at the making of the film, its accompanying fan movement, and the individuals who have championed its status as one of the worst films ever made. Follow filmmaker Rick Harper and his team on their journey across the globe as they experience this midnight movie phenomenon, meet with the entire cast and crew of the The Room, and piece together the story behind the mysterious Tommy Wiseau.
Known as the "Citizen Kane of bad movies", The Room grossed only $1900 during its initial box office run. Against all odds, Mr. Wiseau's disastrous film found a new life on the midnight movie circuit and now plays to audiences around the world making it one of the most adored and important films in popular culture. The film has spawned everything from a live stage show to a video game to a best-selling book by co-star Greg Sestero that is currently being developed into a feature film directed by and starring James Franco.
