Sasa Basi Benefit Gala

With great excitement, we would like to invite you to our Sasa Basi! Benefit Gala on April 3rd, 2016!

Inspired by the Tanzanian villagers with whom we have been working closely, our event is a CELEBRATION of global engagement and diversity at UBC and in the world beyond! The event will be held at the UBC Nests Great Hall to raise funds for our Maji Mazuri Water Project and the Hope for Happiness Sustainable Farm.

Sasa Basi! features a full-course dinner of traditional Tanzanian fare and a night packed with performances by UBC A Cappella, Mary Nadine Maranan and many more of your favorite performers. Door prizes will be available to the lucky winners and raffles tickets will be available throughout the night. There will also be a photo booth present so you'll be able to relive this eye-opening night.

100% of the proceeds will support the Maji Mazuri Water Project and the Hope for Happiness Sustainable Farm in the rural village of Mugeta, Tanzania. Hope for Happiness is working in close collaboration with Mugeta Childrens School to improve community health through clean water and childrens education.
