Native Plant Walk & Talk Saturday, March 5, 10:00AM - 12:00PM Ages: 10 and up $5 per person, please register in advance Native plants support local insects, birds and other animals. This concept is simply: native plants have developed together with the soil, climate and animals of our region. They support each other and their means they can withstand the elements with less maintenance than many transplants. Naturalist Ed Dominguez will provide more insights to the benefits of native and lead a tour of Seward Parks familiar, and maybe not so familiar, native plants. Ed can also answer garden questions ahead of our March 12 13 native plant sale.
