Marketing on the Cheap

Would you like to learn some ways to promote your business inexpensively? Marketing on the Cheap is a workshop geared toward artists, musicians, small non-profits, solo-entrepreneurs, and small businesses. Join us on Thursday, March 24 from 8:30-11:30 a.m. at Butch & Babes in Burlington to get some free and low-cost tips for promoting your business or non-profit.

Presenters include Megan J. Humphrey, Mark Johnson, and Kate Paine. Megan Humphrey will provide specific ideas on free and low-cost marketing suggestions. Mark Johnsons talk will focus on ways to utilize local and regional media through print and radio as well as online. Kate Paine will discuss the use of social media, especially LinkedIn, as a mini-website.

Megan Humphrey owns Sweet Basil Cards, is the Founder and Executive Director of HANDS, and organizes special events. Mark Johnson has a background in both print and radio and currently works for VT Digger. Kate Paine is the principal of Kate Paine Associates, LLC and guides clients with their online image management strategies.
