Pike Old Bawdy Barley Wine Brewer's Night
Take a trip into Pike Brewings cellar at the Old Bawdy Brewers Night on Thursday, March 3. Held annually at The Pike Pub, this vertical tasting is a rare chance to taste seven vintages of our classic and award winning barley wine side by side. Pike Head Brewer, Art Dixon, will be on hand, so bring your questions about barley wine and how to properly age it.
Your ticket entitles you to six taster glasses of Pike Old Bawdy Barley Wine, paired with The Pike Pub's spent grain pretzels. The evening will be held in Pike's Microbrewery Museum and you are welcome to enjoy the tasting at your own pace.
Pike Brewing Companys Pike Old Bawdy Barley Wines have been brewed annually from 1991 to 1997 and then re-introduced in 2006. The 2007, 2009, 2010 and the 2014 vintages have all recently won medals in beer tasting competitions.
