Tin Barn Vineyards Summer Solstice Winemaker Dinner

Tin Barn Vineyards presents our 2011 "Joon" Rose of Syrah Sonoma Coast, Coryelle Fields. Join us on the brightest day of the year to celebrate this special new release.

Hosted by winemaker and founder Michael Lancaster, we'll gather under the open sky to share the very first vintage of Joon (which means "dear" in Persian). We'll also offer our cool climate Syrah from the same vineyard, including several library vintages. Chef Brian West of Estate Restaurant has prepared several pairing options for this sumptuous al fresco meal, which includes fresh local produce from the girl & the fig farm project.

**Primi: Baby Spinach & Arugula Salad
w/toasted walnut vinaigrette, pickled shallot, shaved pecorino

**Secondi: Arctic Char
w/ summer squash risotto, garden herb pesto

OR

Penne
w/ spicy lamb sausage, peperonoata, garlic bread crumbs smoked ricotta

**Dolci: Rose-Basil Sorbet
w/black pepper angeletti cookie, roasted raspberry sauce

Question:

Is this dinner for wine club members only? My wife and I are in the area for a week and would like to attend. Also, is the dinner in the vineyard itself, or inside? Thanks, Jereme and Cassie Hakala

Answer:

HI Jereme & Cassie, Thanks for your interest in the upcoming Tin Barn Vineyards winemaker dinner! The event is open to the public, although wine club members do get a discounted ticket price ($50). As for locaation, the dinner takes place on the outdoor patio at a popular Sonoma restaurant called ESTATE.
