The Ivy Crest Theatre Co. Mission: The Ivy Crest Theatre Co., founded in 2015, was developed with the initiative to provide professional quality theatre at an affordable price to the NY audience in intimate black box settings. Our core imperative is that the plays we produce resonate with both our artists and audience. It is our commitment to achieve this mission through underproduced forms of theatre, such as one acts or short plays, new works and revivals of Off-Broadway plays. As an NYC theatre company, it is also our deeply held belief that our work should be as diverse as the city itself- providing a platform for women and minority writers but also to focus on works that range from blue to white collar struggles. As to the type of stories we want to tell, Faulkner said it best "the problems of the human heart, in conflict with itself."
