Please join us for our second annual Haitian Dinner Gala for a great night of food, fun, and fundraising for a great cause. This event will feature important speakers in the micro-finance world, and stories from Haiti. Please consider being part of a community of people who are passionate about making a difference in the world.
All proceeds of this event will go directly to our program in Haiti. This program was developed in 2010 after the earthquake, Goudougoudou, left over three million people homeless and job-less. The program has been a great success, with over 1000 loans made and an additional 1000 people on a waiting list. By joining us for the gala, you not only fund new loans for the very poor in Haiti, but your money is used again and again as the loans are paid back. This lasting legacy of your donations is a unique feature of WI Microfinance.
Harvest has been featured in Gourmet Magazine as one of Americas best Farm-To-Table restaurants. Tami Lax, the owner and proprietor, has also been recognized as chef of the year and Harvest has been recognized as restaurant of the year! Harvest is one of downtown Madisons most renown and iconic restaurants, and you wont find a better opportunity to experience the creativeness and sumptuousness of the Harvest experience!
