An Evening with The Bills: CD Release and Benefit Concert for Syrian Refugees
"The Bills are the biggest blast of fresh air to come out of Canada since The Band" Glasgow Herald Victoria residents are in for a memorable evening of entertainment and goodwill as the award-winning quintet The Bills release their new CD "Trail of Tales" at a benefit concert in support of a Syrian refugee family who will be arriving in Victoria this spring. A silent auction including many exciting items donated by local businesses, artists and artisans will also be held in conjunction with the concert. Proceeds from the event will go towards Continuing Studies Community Refugee Support's effort to bring a Syrian family of six to Victoria. CSCRS is a Constituent Group made up of employees and volunteers from the University of Victoria's Division of Continuing Studies. Silent auction viewing starts at 7:00pm. Cash and cheques are preferred, but debit and credit cards are also accepted. The concert will begin at 8:00pm. Please note that there is no reserve seating. Cash bar will be available.
