Roedde House Jazz Concert Series Presents: Sarah Kennedy & Giovani Goulart
Local jazz vocalist, Sarah Kennedy, and pianist Giovani Goulart will be bringing a beautiful performance of Brazilian repertoire to the Roedde House Museum on Thursday February 11th. Sarah has been delighting audiences across the lower mainland since 2007 with her poignant interpretations of jazz repertoire. Her debut album, "Portrait," produced by Jennifer Scott, was released in October 2015, and has been played on CBC Hot Air as well as A-Trane radio. She has done numerous sold-out shows at this venue.
Giovani Goulart is a pianist, percussionist, and composer who has recently relocated to Vancouver from Brazil, bringing with him a wealth of experience as a recording and performing artist. He has arranged, produced and recorded dozens of albums and directed may musical projects in Brazil, Germany and Portugal.
Together they have collaborated on a range of Brazilian compositions including tunes by Tania Maria, Gilberto Gil, Djavan, Tom Jobim and more. Join us for a lovely evening of entertainment with this exquisite duo.

ABOUT THE JAZZ CONCERT SERIES AT ROEDDE HOUSE:
This concert is part of a monthly concert series, taking place on the 2nd Thursday of each month, in the evening. Come by at 6:30pm to explore the main floor of this unique heritage house. Tea & cookies served at intermission.

Options include the parking lot at the Empire Landmark Hotel (Robson & Broughton) or street parking on Robson and in the West End.
Parking spots are scarce in the neighbourhood, so give yourself some extra time or use public transportation. (Closest Skytrain station: Burrard. We are on the #5 Robson bus route)
