Flotilla De Barge's "Massacre of Love"

HAPPY * CRY * PRETTY! is an 8-week performance series presented by TWEED TheaterWorks, Kevin Malony Artistic Director.

Flotilla De Barge, The Empress of Large, will perform a very special show in honor of Valentines Day - and Black History Month! Exploring the, well, darker side of love - and life - Ms DeBarge will weave a spell of magic and mayhem, drawing from her rich history of performing standards and blues tunes, and telling stories that will shock, astound, and perhaps even bring a tear to your lovestruck eyes.

Flotilla DeBarge, actor and singer, has been affiliated with TWEED Theater Works for over 20 yrs and has participated in many of their fundraisers and benefits. She has starred in TWEED staged productions of "Raisinettes in the Sunshine", "The Other play about the Baby" and "Imitation of Life".

Flotilla's television credits include "Sex and the City", "Law & Order'' HBO's "Angels in America", and her film credits include "Marci X" and "Friends and Family". She appeared on Broadway in the Roundabout revival of "The Three Penny Opera" alongside Alan Cumming and Cyndi Lauper.
