Love in the Afternoon with the Ellie Shaw Quartet
The Sapphire Room presents a Matinee performance "Love in the Afternoon" , celebrating the great love longs of the 1940's. This swinging quartet is fronted by the phenomenal jazz violinist and vocalist Miss Ellie Shaw. Ellie's natural talent and respect for the genre are apparent the minute she steps onto the stage. This talented quartet brings to life the sounds of Sinatra, Nat King Cole, Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday and many of your other favorites. Rounding out their sound is Camden Hughes on piano, Troy Ferguson on bass and Kiley Ruwe Shaw on rhythm guitar.
